Swim Lessons
I am starting to think God gave me two fishies instead of two babies. They love the water so much. We were able to get in swim lesson's before we left for our Florida vacation. In this picture Cassandra is doing the chicken, airplane, soldier move. She was very lucky because there were only two kids in her class, so she really got a lot out of her swimming lessons this year. She can swim across a pool now on her back. She can also swim under the water along ways and has learned how to get another breath and keep going. She is really doing good!

We were also very proud of Rylee. Katie was so worried that she wouldn't get in the water without clinging onto her. But....she surprised us all, and was really excited about swimming lessons. This was our first year that we didn't have to get in the pool with the kids. We were happy to not get wet (and cold).
Cassandra's teacher recommended that she move from the Preschool three class to the level 2 class for bigger kids. She will be one of the shortest and smallest kids in her class, but she is ready to move on up!

Grand Prix at Zion Church
I think these two videos say it all!
And this video is so true....he is telling me that on the first race, he lost, but then he raced again and won, and raced again and won and raced again and won. It was really neat how they did it ....they had a race for first place, and then if you didn't win first place, you got to start over and race again for second and third place. Well, by the time they did that, Jase's car got to race about 4 times, which was very exciting for Jase. One time it was even against his sister's car. Anyway.....we were all well pleased that he won....because he was just a hoot to watch because he was just so excited.

So, Jase won two trophies. One for best design and the other one for 2nd place in speed.
Cassandra won a blue ribbon for best paint job. But....the best part about this is....Jase gave her one of his trophies, since she didn't win a trophy......(come on....say it with me....AWE...WASN'T THAT SWEET!!!!)

Easter at Zion and Bethany
I think I just got lucky when I took this picture of Jase because he certaintly wasn't smiling this day. He started running a fever and wasn't feeling real good.
Cassandra on the other hand was having a great day. Ms. Lenny had to help her carry her eggs because she found so many.
She said, she was going to share with her brother.
Mom threw a few eggs in his basket, but basically he just watched everyone.
Can we go now?
Mrs. Carol Jean Rhodes told a wonderful Easter story with the kids using a dozen of plastic eggs that told the story of Jesus riding in on a donkey, and to the end when he Has Risen and the tomb (egg) was empty.
I think all the kids guessed that the last egg was empty. And I have to tell you this part....see the little boy in the blue shirt....not sure who he is, but Mrs. Carol Jean brought out a tiny wine glass and told the kids that Jesus had his last supper with the disciples and drank wine, and the little boy in the blue shirt said, "my dad drinks beer and it makes him drunk and I tell him he needs to quit drinking beer because it makes him drunk". It was cute/funny and.....you know...oh my....
Cassandra's church friends....Neeley and Naomi.
Awe....so sweet!
Then.....after the Zion Easter Egg hunt, we darted off to our old church, Bethany Baptist. We really enjoyed seeing everyone again. No one had changed....they were as sweet as ever. I'm really glad that we went!
Of course, everyone was amazed to see how much Jase and Cassandra had grown in the past 8 months. Also, Cassandra and Jase were giving everyone hugs and were glad to see them as well.

Mom...Let's Go Fishing
I'm so lucky to have two wonderful children. They truly bless me everyday!

Pretty cool, huh....4-leaf clover....well, that was just the beginning of our luck on our fishing trip....These guys put their fishing pole in the water and instantly we got a bite and the fish took our bate off our hook. We immediately bated back up, and Jase reeled in a HUGE perch. Then...we bated up again and BAM....Cassandra reels in a GIGANTIC bass. So, I told the kids...well, we caught our quota....let's go back home. They were happy and so was I.
That Cassandra is so lucky....she always catches a fish. And of course she loves fishing but is scared of them and will not touch them.

Tada.....dinner is served!

What's the old nursery ryme, fishey, fishey in the brook, Daddy caught him with a hook, Mommy fried it in a pan, and baby ate it like a man. Well....anyway......that's what we had for dinner tonight. It was a little boney....but it feeled our tummies. We were so proud of ourselves! We are really enjoying the spring weather!

A Box from Montana
Jase really enjoyed Cassandra's Birthday this year. He ended up getting 4 BELATED Birthday presents. What's the old saying, 2 Good + 2 Be = 4 Gotten. Or Better late than never. Anyway.....they were both very excited when this BIG BOX from Montana arrived from Uncle Mark and Aunt Sharon. The only thing that was missing was the bubble wrap! Hint, Hint, Hint! ;-)
This one is mine, it has my name on it!
See...
We love our PINK pillows. Even the pink "J" hummm?????
Pretending to be snoozing.....z..z...z...z..z
Thanks for remembering us!
