May Days for Jase

Nothing like starting the summer out with swimming lessons. The kids knew that summer meant that they got to go to swimming lesson's, so, I went ahead and signed them up. I think Cory is right, just getting them in the water is good for them, because they learn pretty quick what they can and cannot do. At least they are not scared of the water and they know their limits. Jase is setting an example for his friends to follow.
Cassandra on the other hand is in level 4, she is the shortest and smallest in her class, but she is keeping up with 15-year old girls in her class. You go girl!

She loves it!

Of course, he loves the Superman float!

Jase just finished his 2nd session of PeeWee soccer training. I think he might be ready for a real team now. He was doing pretty good going after the ball. Ugh.....So, yea I'm not looking forward to Saturday morning Soccer games. But I'll do anything for my boy (and girl)!

And good ole Dad can give me a 3-week break in between! LOL.....Divide and conquor!

Nothing like staying home with Daddy. You get to work with tools, argh, argh, argh

What else could a Dad ask for.....when he has Superman by his side helping him!

Look out Summer, here we come!

Birthday party for Allie

Of course I have pictures of the Birthday girl, which I'll put in my scrapbook, but, I better not put them on the web. Not sure if they would appreciate that or not?

Jase was amazing, climbing on this rope climb. He looked like spider man.

Of course they love the foam pit.

and the obstacle course!

They were wore out before we left.

Awana Grand Prix

Let the race begin. We are all excited and cannot sit still!
Jase's car. He was so proud of it!
Everyone got a really big laugh at Jase's smile. He was so excited that his car won. He was grinning from ear to ear. Oh that boy....he is a mess!
Yea....Sebastian's car won too!
I named my car the Cotton Hauler and it won 1st place in sports design. Whoop!
Jase is still grinning!
And of course, she is tinkled pink!
My "truck" won a 2nd place trophy for speed too (well that was after Cory lubricated it up for me....the first time down the track it didn't even make it to the finish line).

Jase was happy to carry out all the cars for us!
And Cassandra was more than happy to haul out all of our trophies! (despite the strong winds that we had that day). Ignore the hairdo!
Thank you again Awana Leaders for going the extra mile for making this event happen for the kids. You rock!

Awana Drive in movie car

It has been a busy month at Awana's. We had the drive in movie night with the Cubbies and the Sparks class combining, which meant that I had to decorate two cars. We threw something together and here is the end result.

They loved their cars, which is all that mattered! They both really are enjoying Awana's. They do so much for the kids, it is amazing and so much fun!

ABC's and Earthworm's

Here is my adorable 4 year old singing his ABC's and his earthworm song. He has sang this song, every day, every hour on the hour, until even now, I'm singing the little jingle in my head too. Oh my.....so have fun singing... HAVE YOU EVER SEEN AN EARTHWORM, GO THIS WAY, AND THAT WAY, HAVE YOU EVER SEEN AN EARTHWORM GO THIS WAY AND THAT WAY.

Not sure if that is even how the song goes....but it's all that I have heard for the last few days....OH ME!!!!! BUT....I love it ;-)

Brother/Sister for Sale

I saw these shirts and thought they were really cute, but they really do not describe my kids personality (well, at least not at this age of their life)
But I'm sure a time will be coming, that they would be more than happy to cash in on a great deal.
They love the tire swing that their Daddy hung for them.
Making silly faces.
Yep....it's getting harder and harder for me to get them to SMILE at the camera. Ugh....
Ugh......they are growing up so fast.
Unbelievable......Jase is almost as tall as his Sister. He is getting really close!
Anyway......we are loving the warmer weather, but have discovered it is officially Spring because we saw our first copper head snake. Ugh.......at least it was a dead one ;-)

Montana Memories

We first noticed Jase's hair with static electricity, but his hair was too thin to take a good picture, but you can really tell it in Cassandra's hair.
They were so cute.....we were at the Denver airport waiting for our flight to Montana and the kids were looking out the window and were watching the planes and checking out all the snow. They were getting so excited!
Thank God for V-readers, both the kids got one for Christmas and they really helped entertain the kids and keep them busy!
Uncle Mark gave Jase an Indian head dress that used to be his when he was a little boy. So, not only is it very special to Jase, but it's very sentimental that Uncle Mark would let go of one of his prize possessions to Jase. Awe....so sweet!
She looks like a little Indian princess!
The kids got a special treat when it came to our dog sledding trip. One of the dogs was limping, so the guide unleashed it from the team of dogs and put it in the sled with them. They really enjoyed being able to pet it while they were in the sled.
Mommy and Daddy took Uncle Mark and Aunt Sharon out to eat while we stayed with Lucas. He helped us decorate a ginger bread house.
Jase was fascinated with the snow shovel. I bet that wouldn't last very long if he lived there.
Definitely a Mommy's boy! AND I LOVE IT!!!!
Yellowstone National Park was awesome!

Montana was awesome! We'll never forget this trip!
