Snake encounter

Awe.....this is so sweet, this is a picture of Sebastian consoling Cassandra after she was scared of the Copperhead snake by our green house.

Too precious!
This is obviously before the snake encounter!

Playing 42 at the neighbors. Cassandra selected my dominoes for me.

VBS 2010

VBS at Zion Church of Kurten was a blast. We had so much fun and were so glad that Rylee, Sebastian and Holley joined us. Everything was so awesome. The food, the skit, the classes....everything EXCEPT the late bed time. But we survived!

Florida Keys Vacation

I truly hope that my children can remember all these trips that we have taken them on. I know when I was little, I never got to have these type of experiences growing up. I never went out of the state of Texas until I was 21 years old.

This was really awesome, Cassandra and Jase both got picked to go up and receive a kiss on the cheek from the dolphin. Jase even turned his cheek to get a second kiss on the other side. He was so cute.

Jase was taking a picture with his camera. He was too cute! They had a nurse shark, and a sea turtle.

This sea turtle had a bouyancy problem, so they made a life jacket for it to keep it a float so that it didn't drown.

We saw lots and lots of iguana's

We petted a baby nurse shark. It did not have slick fishey skin, it was sorta hairy, fuzzy like.

Going to dinner and driving up in our boat to the restaurant. Pretty relaxing and cool! We learned that we couldn't hang our feet over the boat, because people have been known to be pulled from their boats by crocodiles into the water. So.....THANKS local person that warned us about dangling our feet over the boat.

Our Florida Keys vacation was really a lot of fun. The diving was great, the food delicious and we always enjoy spending time with the Nardin Family. We are already discussing our next trip.

Superman vs. Lil Princess in Soccer

Oh my goodness.....as Robin would say, "call the cuteness police; these guys are just too cute".
They got a wild hair that they wanted to go outside and play soccer ball, but they had just played dress up with Sebastian and Holley, so, they were still in their superhero clothes and princess clothes.

Jase even picked out his tenny shoes, he said, they would help him run fast.

I think this is just before I announced that we were going back inside that it was way too hot outside to run around chasing a soccer ball. Needless to say, Jase had a pouty face!

Okay............just had to grab the camera. I thought they just looked too cute! Kodak memories!!! (really a Sony camera.....but you get the idea!)

Swim Lessons

I am starting to think God gave me two fishies instead of two babies. They love the water so much. We were able to get in swim lesson's before we left for our Florida vacation. In this picture Cassandra is doing the chicken, airplane, soldier move. She was very lucky because there were only two kids in her class, so she really got a lot out of her swimming lessons this year. She can swim across a pool now on her back. She can also swim under the water along ways and has learned how to get another breath and keep going. She is really doing good!

We were also very proud of Rylee. Katie was so worried that she wouldn't get in the water without clinging onto her. But....she surprised us all, and was really excited about swimming lessons. This was our first year that we didn't have to get in the pool with the kids. We were happy to not get wet (and cold).
Cassandra's teacher recommended that she move from the Preschool three class to the level 2 class for bigger kids. She will be one of the shortest and smallest kids in her class, but she is ready to move on up!

Now, Mr. Jase was also promoted from Preschool 1 to Preschool 2. He is doing really good and is very comfortable putting his head under the water.

Ms. Summmer was Cassandra's teacher and she was so good with her. She did an excellent job.

Yea.....we love swimming!

The Peter's just put in a pool in their back yard, and now Rylee is going under the water and is very comfortable. She has really progressed along ways this summer and will only get better and better at swimming! Way to go Rylee!

My silly boy. You gotta love him! He is a hoot!!!!
